Berlin's Bier Hauz

A few days, me and my friends meet up in this Bavarian beer house for a drink or two. This is the time of year, where old pals gathered together and reminiscing the good old times back in the school days.

1. The bar table of Berlin's. More tables and chairs inside and outside of the beer house. Better get your table reserved on weekends, otherwise you're out of luck..

2. This is where the draught beers are hosted. Sitting on the counter ensure the best view of the bartender serving fresh and cold beers to you!

3. An extensive menu of beers, mostly imported. Erdinger, Franziskaner, Stella Artois, you name it, they got it!

4. Going to bar without ordering a pint or two is unacceptable! (but I ain't no beer expert, oops..) A pint of Erdinger Weissbier, a cloudy golden-coloured white German beer from Erding, Germany, with alcohol content of 5.3%w/v. It was nice, smooth and easy for the mouth, more than enough to quench my thirst!

5. Varieties of German specialty food also available for filling in your beer bellies. As you can see, mostly is pork! (My favourite meat ^_^)

6. A snack not to be missed is the Schweinerbraten (German Roast Pork), served with mustard & garlic olio sauce. Uniformly sliced, each for a mouthful portion. Tasted even better with the sauce. Hate to admit it, but it tastes better than our regular Chinese counterpart.

7. A similar snack whereby the roasted pork is fried and caramelized, and thus Caramelized  Schweinerbraten is born! Tasted more fragrant and salty. A wonderful beer snack..

8. One is never enough, this time a black beer for a change. Another pint of Franziskaner Dunkel, a dark German beer from Munich, with alcohol content of 5% by volume. It was smooth and had a stronger taste than white beer, tasted just like stouts. Enough alcohol for the night. Gotta be a responsible driver ^_^

A decent hang-out place for beer-lovers nonetheless. Pardon me for posting sub-quality shoots from my camera phone. Definitely come back here for more beers and pork too, with a decent camera of course. Gotta try their German Pork Knuckle & sausages. Oink! Oink!
