Wanton Mee at Lenggong (罗地)

My job's field trips often take me to previous unknown places throughout Perak, this has given me the chance to explore its landmarks as well as its local delights. Lenggong is a perfect example, a previously unknown town to me and it has a few hidden gems waiting to explore, wanton mee is one of them.

1). Loh Dee (罗地) is situated along the main street of Lenggong, a town in the middle of Kuala Kangsar and Gerik on the Baling-Kuala Kangsar Expressway.

2). Usually we stopped here for breakfast and a cup of hot coffee keep me energized along the trip.

3). As one of the most anticipated moment along the trip, a plate of wanton noodles topped with self-made char siew (叉烧), a barbecued pork is enough for a satisfying breakfast. A wanton mee is not complete without its wanton (云吞), a pork-filled dumpling, however the wanton is nothing remarkable.

4). After a stomach-filling breakfast, it's time to wipe our asses and continue our journey all the way to Gerik or Pengkalan Hulu.
